The town's beach, Abermaw, is west facing with a mixture of sand and some fine shingle and is ideal for bathing and watersports.

Bennar Beach
Bennar’s fine, sandy beach is backed by the occasional sand dune. These sand dunes are of Special Scientific Interest, since they are constantly developing and therefore changing their environment.
